Boat insurance from American Modern is flexible to your specific needs.
- Your boat policy can be liability only or full coverage. Full coverage includes Physical Damage coverage to the hull as well as liability protection.
- Agreed Value protection for your boat. If your boat is new to 10 years old, this protection is automatically included. Policies for older boats come with Actual Cash Value coverage, but you can easily upgrade to Agreed Value.
- Replacement cost protection is an option if your boat is new to three model years old. You may receive up to 120% of the amount stated on your declarations page if your boat is a total loss. We even do the research to help you find a replacement boat!

Full coverage policies automatically give you:
- $1,000 in medical payments. Need more coverage? Increase the limit up to $25,000.
- Protection that replaces parts on your boat if they break. If the part is two years old or newer, your policy pays to replace it. You can increase this coverage to cover parts up to ten years old. This coverage is subject to deductible.
- No deductible on total losses. If your boat is damaged beyond repair, you claim settlement is not subject to a deductible.

- Trailer coverage.
- A professional angler endorsement that provides not only tournament coverage, but also reimbursement of tournament fees if your boat is damaged before the event, making you unable to participate.
